Welcome to video game design and development level 1 from Protégé Game Studios! In this level 1 video game development course we will walk you step-by-step through the process to explain how a video game works, teach core development skills and create a video game that will be published online for play and reviewed by other students and teachers. The best student created video games at the end of the semester will be selected for display on Protégé’s Arcade and Web Site.
This course covers 10 sessions that will develop core skills in areas of Game Design, 2D Graphics, Sound and Programming using three web development technologies of HTML, CSS and JavaScript . You will learn to solve problems, manage tasks and learn to apply logical and critical thinking to your tasks. All game development files are accessible under each session.
